Pathshala is the early school of Photography in South Asia region, which offers various short-term and long-term educational Programme in photography, film and multimedia journalism throughout the year. Started in 1998, the institution has slowly grown to become a fully-fledged photography educational institution based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

S M Akash


S M Akash is a Chief News Editor at Deepto TV. He also worked as a Chief News Editor in Ntv from 2011 to 2021 and also former communication specialist at United Nations. He has completed his Master in Mass Communication & Journalism in the year 1997 from University of Dhaka and Bachelor of Art in Mass Communication & Journalism in 1995 from the same university. He has also completed International Diploma in Conflicting Reporting in 2003 in Srilanka and Nepal under UNDP. S M Akash Worked in different Television channels as News Editor from 2003 and still going on. He also worked in different news agencies in the line of editor since 1996. He has experienced in Anchoring programmes and talk show. He is working as faculty in Pathshala South Asian Media Institute.
