Md. Ashiqur Rahman Leeon is the Chairman of the Department of Theatre & Performance Studies at University of Dhaka. Research papers on acting methods, performances written in Bengali as well as in English have been published in Journals of Bangla Academy (National Academy for Literature and Culture), Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (Bangladesh National Academy for Fine Arts and Performing Arts). Md. Ashiqur Rahman Leeon Has experiences on conducting workshop on various subjects like acting method, visual design in many places of Bangladesh arranged by Bangladesh Shilpokola Academy, Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation and many other organizations. He is also a regular voice artist of Deepto TV, SRK studio and Platform media and communication.
