Khandaker Tanvir Murad is currently the Head of the Photography Department at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. Earlier than he completed his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University. His early career started at Drik Picture Library Limited as the coordinator of Gallery and Exhibition where his specialization was in designing and executing various exhibitions. His interests are in contemporary art, society, culture, and religion. In 2019, he attained the Charles Wallace Professional Visits Programme in the UK and worked there on the development and implementation of the academic curriculum of the educational progarmmes. He has completed ToT on Photography teaching under World Press Photo in Amsterdam in 2012.
