STORIES FOR CHANGE
Stories for Change is a year-long program in which we are looking for aspiring storytellers from all over Bangladesh working in various media to develop their own community stories which can bring positive changes to society.
We are inviting applicants who can produce projects that reflect stories on balanced economic inequality, gender sensitivity, food security, climate change, humanitarian principles, etc. We aim for participants from multiple media like photography, videography, animation, cartoon, text, or any other storytelling format.
The program will support and guide participants through various stages that include developing research methodology, visual styles, narrative construction, acquiring local knowledge, questioning taboos and conventions, and discovering new ways to engage with the audience.
This project is a collaboration between Pathshala South Asian Media Institute and Oxfam Novib. ‘Stories for Change’ will give the participant a unique learning experience to work on community development, raise social awareness, and address issues to bring positive impact leading to a better society. We are searching for stories that are more inclusive, sustainable, and done in co-creation with a local storyteller.

Submission Guidelines:
Age: 18 years and above
1. Application Form: A completed application form is required.

2. Letter of Interest: A short letter of interest is required explaining your motivation and your interest in joining the project (within 300 words).
3. Portfolio (optional): One body of work containing stories/ series; (25-30 photographs/ video works, texts, and other visual forms).
Note: File Size:
- For Image submission: Each image should not exceed a file size of 500kb per image. The images should be processed at 72dpi, and 1500 pixels at the longest edge.
- For video submission: 1920 X 1080 Full HD (High Definition)
